St Catherine's is an area in the South-West corner of Guildford. The River Wey is on the Eastern boundary, the Hog's Back to the North-West, the Town to the North-East, and the main Portsmouth road leading through rural country towards Godalming to the South. There are about 500 households, ranging from flats to large houses.
This website is run by the SCVA committee for the benefit of the community.

Saturday 28th November 2020 – New Residents' Welcome Guide
It's been years in the making, but the SCVA Committee has produced an eight-page A5 brochure of what is to be found in and around the St Catherine's area. This includes a specially drawn area map. It is distributed free to all new residents. Everyone may copy this online version. Or if you wish, you may use THIS link to download the PDF version to print the Guide yourself.

Sunday 22nd March Local WhatsApp Groups have been created for each road in the SCVA area to enable communication between households to exchange advice and ask for help. If you are not yet part of one we do encourage you to join. It just needs your mobile phone number and the WhatsApp app on your phone. There are no GDPR implications for this. You have simply shared your mobile number and your name and are then able to communicate with others nearby. We believe that this is the best and simplest solution for neighbourly help and communication.
